The Colts defeat the Grads 4-3

Cameron Hebert had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 goals and Justin Mcrae delivered for his team with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists). Alexandre Way ‘a’contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Keenan Reynolds chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Hebert opened the scoring for Cornwall with a goal at 7:09 with helpers from teammates Monteleone and Bidenti. Reynolds answered for Navan with a goal at 19:57 with helpers from Besner ‘a’ and Way ‘a’.

In the second, Way ‘a’put in a goal at 1:59 with assists from Reynolds and Besner ‘a’. Hebert answered for Cornwall with a goal at 8:30 with assists from his linemates, Mammas and Mcrae. Mcrae quickly followed with a goal at 10:15 with a helper from fellow Colts forward Theodore.

During the third, Maccormick deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 5:14 with helpers from his linemates, Mulhearn and Mcrae. Besner ‘a’quickly followed with a goal at 6:07 with assists from Matton and Cianci.

Cornwall’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Lascelle as he stopped 17 of the 20 shots he faced. On the other hand, Lascelle’s counterpart, Kitchen, and Navan’s defense did not have such a great night stopping only 17 of 21 shots.

This win brings the Cornwall Colts’ record to (6-5-1-0).
