COLTS EARN ONE POINT IN LOSS TO CANADIANS

Cornwall – Liam Lascelle made 45 saves but it wasn’t enough as the Carleton Place Canadians beat the Colts 4-3 in overtime.
Lascelle earned both the Pizza Pizza First Star and the Cornwall Toyota Hardest Working Player as the Canadians outshot the Colts 49-14.
Cameron Hebert (4) and Jeremy Quesnel (1) each had a goal and an assist for the Colts. Alec Vent also scored his first CCHL goal.
The Colts record stands at 5-5-1-0 (11pts).
Aside from Lascelle, the Pizza Pizza Three Stars were Second Star Tim Theocharidis (CP) and Third Star Travis Broughman (CP).
The Colts finished 0-for-3 on the power play while the Canadians were 2-for-7 with the man advantage.
The Colts next game is in Navan vs the Grads this Sunday. Game time is 2pm at the Navan Arena.
Cornwall returns home next Thursday (Oct 5th) to face off against the Nepean Raiders. Game time is 7:30pm at the Ed Lumley Arena.
