Ottawa Midget AAA blows out Pembroke Midget AAA, 4-1

The Ottawa Midget AAA Senators were firing on all cylinders against the Pembroke Midget AAA Lumber Kings, and when the final buzzer sounded Senators emerged with a 4-1 win.

Ottawa Midget AAA got the win with help from a great game by Adrien Bisson, who had one goal and two assists. Bisson scored 12:46 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Ottawa Midget AAA. Noah Haymes provided the assist.

Pembroke Midget AAA was stymied by the Senators’ netminder Cedrick Andree, who stopped 28 shots during the victory. Andree certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.38 entering the contest.

Ottawa Midget AAA also got points from Haymes, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Ottawa Midget AAA also had goals scored by Griffin McGregor and Tyler Newell, who each put in one. In addition, Ottawa Midget AAA received assists from Jean-Sylvain Boyer, Daniel Lambert, and Tyler Villeneuve, who contributed one each.

The Lumber Kings were led by Will Searle, who scored the team’s only goal. Searle scored on the power play 9:22 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Ottawa Midget AAA. Pembroke Midget AAA had gotten the advantage when Ottawa Midget AAA’s Bisson was sent off for tripping. Noah Maika picked up the assist.

The Senators incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Lumber Kings’ Darian McTavish stopped 21 shots out of the 24 that he faced. Pembroke Midget AAA incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
