OHA U18 Midget AAA’s Stacey deadly on offense in 5-2 win against Kemptville Midget AAA

The OHA U18 Midget AAA OHA U17 relied on the scoring touch of Dylan Stacey, who netted two goals, to beat the Kemptville Midget AAA 73s, 5-2.

Stacey scored at 6:20 into the third period to make the score 3-2 OHA U18 Midget AAA and again while 10:42 into the third to make the score 4-2 OHA U18 Midget AAA.

OHA U18 Midget AAA stifled Kemptville Midget AAA’s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The OHA U17 found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. OHA U18 Midget AAA averages 2.9 goals per game.

Others who scored for OHA U18 Midget AAA included Jon Vandermolen, Josh Kim, and Aleck Forcier, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for OHA U18 Midget AAA were Julien Allard, Adam Porter, Justin Poirier, and Zach Letto, who contributed one each.

The 73s were led by Brady Elder, who finished with two goals. Elder scored the first of his two goals at 1:13 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kemptville Midget AAA. Ryan Pawlikowski assisted on the tally. Elder’s next tally made the score 2-0 Kemptville Midget AAA with 11:59 left in the first period. Troy Quinn picked up the assist.
