COLTS ADD FORWARD DEPTH ACQUIRE TANNER FROM CALGARY

Cornwall – The Cornwall Colts have added forward depth in a trade to acquire Tommy Tanner from the Calgary Canucks of the AJHL in return for a player development fee.
The 19 year old Montreal, Quebec born forward spent the past 3 season playing for Kent School in the USHS where he collected 40 points in 66 games before joining the Canucks to begin the 2017-18 season.
“He’s my kind of player,” says Colts coach Ian MacInnis of the 6’0, 175 pound forward. “He brings a two way, gritty style every shift.”
Tanner is expected to join the Colts as early as this weekend.
The Colts head into tonight’s road game in Smiths Falls with a 7-8-1-0 (15pts) record. Game time is 7:30pm at the Smiths Falls Community Centre.
