Carleton Place Midget AAA rolls over Pembroke Midget AAA, 6-0

The Carleton Place Midget AAA Canadians were firing on all cylinders against the Pembroke Midget AAA Lumber Kings, and when the final buzzer sounded Canadians emerged with a 6-0 win.

Carleton Place Midget AAA was led by Spencer Marshall, who grabbed one goal. Marshall scored on the power play 7:29 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Carleton Place Midget AAA. A tripping penalty on Andre Simard had put the Canadians on the power play. Joey Warywoda assisted on the tally.

Carleton Place Midget AAA excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Canadians’ defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Carleton Place Midget AAA also got points from Ryland Mosley, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Carleton Place Midget AAA also had goals scored by Liam Markhauser, Reece Bolton, Cameron Scissons, and Scott Gervais, who scored one goal each. More assists for Carleton Place Midget AAA came via Emile Cyr, Ethan Wardman, Oliver Carriere, Dale Kilby, Anthony Douchant, and Ryan Shaw, who contributed one each.
