COLTS SALVAGE A POINT IN A 3-2 OVERTIME LOSS TO ROCKLAND

October 4th, 2018 

Cornwall– An unassisted goal in overtime pushed Rockland to a 3-2 victory over the Colts at the Ed Lumley Arena Thursday night.

JoshBarnes had a goal and an assist for the Colts.  Dylan Massie chipped in with a goal and an assist.

Cornwall’s record stands at 4-7-1-0 for 9 points and 9thoverall in the CCHL standings.

Rockland outshot the Colts 40-25 with Mike Carr making 37 saves in a losing effort.

The Cornwall Toyota Hardest Working Player of the game was Alexim Veilleux.

The Wendy’s Restaurant 3 Stars were First Star Josh Barnes (COR), Second Star Wade Brennan (ROC) and Third Star Simon Labelle (ROC).

The Colts next game is Saturday when the play the Hawks in Hawkesbury.  Game time is 7:30pm at the Robert Hartley Sports Complex.

The Colts return home next Thursday, October 11thto host the Smiths Falls Bears. Game time is 7:30pm at the Ed Lumley Arena.
