The Colts fall to the Hawks 5-4

The Cornwall Colts' defense had a poor night, allowing the Hawkesbury Hawks 27 shots throughout the game. The Hawkesbury Hawks took the lead late in the third on a goal from Hunter Duchesne.

Benjamin Dirven contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Jack Collins chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Nicolas Elia had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 goals and Michael Marleau delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first, Collins opened the scoring for Cornwall with a goal at 5:02 with helpers from his teammates Dirven and Huntley. Barnes put in a goal at 18:15 with a helper from his linemate Quesnel.

Dirven answered for Cornwall with a goal at 9:06 with assists from Collins and Huntley. Duchesne answered for Hawkesbury with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 15:22 with an assist from Marleau.
