Brockville Midget AAA penalty kill dominates in 4-1 defeat of Cornwall Midget AAA

The Brockville Midget AAA Braves’ penalty kill was superb, as Brockville Midget AAA survived multiple penalties to beat the Cornwall Midget AAA Colts, 4-1.

The Braves were led by Jacob Shankar, who registered one goal. Shankar scored short handed 14:10 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Brockville Midget AAA. Brockville Midget AAA played down a man on Griffin Patterson‘s hooking.

The Braves excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. Brockville Midget AAA surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Braves average 1.8 goal per game.

Brockville Midget AAA additionally got points from Cameron Hebert, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Adam VanEttinger also scored for Brockville Midget AAA.
