Cornwall– Michael Carr made 45 saves but it wasn’t enough as Brockville upset the Colts in Cornwall’s home opener at the Ed Lumley Arena.
The Braves outshot the Colts 46-33.
The Colts record falls to 0-4-0-0 in this young 2018-19 CCHL season.
For his effort, Carr earned the Cornwall Toyota Hardest Working Player Award.
The Wendy’s Restaurant 3 Stars were First Star Michael Carr (COR), Second Star Liam Souliere (BRO) and Third Star Theo Citrullo (BRO).
The Colts look for their first win of the season in Nepean when they play the Raiders Sunday afternoon. Game time is 2:45 at the Steve Yzerman Arena.
The Colts return home next Thursday, September 13thto face host against the Kemptville 73’s. Game time is 7:30pm at the Ed Lumley Arena.
