Lajoie joins the Colts bringing a diverse hockey background built through more than a decade of coaching, management, scouting, recruiting, and player development experience across Canada, the United States, and Europe.
Most recently, Lajoie coached professionally in France, serving as an Assistant Coach at the Division 1 level and Head Coach at the Division 3 level with HCMP.
His résumé also includes experience as a Junior Hockey Head Coach, General Manager, Head Scout, and Hockey Operations executive, along with extensive work in player recruitment, development, evaluation, and advancement.
Throughout his career, Lajoie has built a reputation around player development, detailed preparation, strong relationships, accountability, and creating a competitive team culture.
As General Manager & Head Coach, Lajoie will lead the Colts’ hockey operations and bench while overseeing the organization’s recruiting, scouting, roster construction, player development, and overall hockey direction.
The mandate is clear:
Build a strong cohesive culture. Develop players. Create opportunities, And establish Cornwall as a premier destination for junior hockey players looking to reach the next level.
