The Colts struggled against the Lasers 8-3 in home game

The Cornwall Colts' defense had a poor night, allowing the Kanata Lasers 31 shots throughout the game. The Kanata Lasers took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Liam Markhauser.

Christopher Mammas contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Alex Johnston delivered for his team with 2 goals and Liam Markhauser did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Hebert opened the scoring for Cornwall with a goal at 5:20 with helpers from his linemates, Pogue and Mammas. Sleeth quickly followed with a goal at 5:29 with helpers from his linemates, Nocita and Quinn. Johnston netted a goal at 14:44. Mammas quickly followed with a goal at 16:01 with an assist from defenseman Sandilands. Mcrae scored a goal at 18:04 with a helper from Maccormick.

During the second, Poeze answered for Kanata with a goal at 1:54 with assists from teammates Schroeder and Markhauser. Markhauser deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 14:55 with helpers from Boucher and Quinn. Rider scored a goal at 17:54 with assists from his linemates, Nocita and Sleeth.

During the third period, Johnston put in a goal at 2:36. Marshall netted a goal at 14:22 with helpers from Blouin and Noonan. Schroeder deposited a goal at 18:08 with assists from Stockdale and Gauthier.
