Michael Carr came up big, stopping 30 of 32 shots throughout the game. The Nepean Raiders took the lead early in the second on a goal from Alexander Bourhas.
During the first, Laird opened the scoring for Nepean with a goal at 8:30.
In the second, Bourhas deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 3:28 with assists from his linemates, Belisle and Gauthier.
In the third, Markell finally put Cornwall on the board with a goal at 11:35 with a helper from Maccormick.
This loss brings the Cornwall Colts’ record to (26-21-4-2).
