The Colts fall to the Hawks 4-3

Liam Lascelle came up big, stopping 44 of 48 shots throughout the game. The Hawkesbury Hawks took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Alec Beaudin-Tougas.

Alex Wilkins did his part, adding 2 assists. Alec Taillon delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Tyler Boivin contributed with 2 assists.

During the first, Maccormick opened the scoring for the Colts with a goal at 4:13 with helpers from teammates Mulhearn and Wilkins. Hebert quickly followed with a goal at 4:57 with helpers from Wilkins and Poirier. Smith finally put Hawkesbury on the board with a goal at 15:38 with assists from Stevens and Anderson.

In the second, Williams answered for the Colts with a goal at 2:45 with helpers from Mcrae and Orr. Taillon quickly followed with a goal at 3:37 with assists from Boivin and Fortin.

In the third, Craig netted a goal at 3:18 with a helper from Marleau. Beaudin-Tougas put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 13:23 with assists from his linemates, Taillon and Boivin.

This loss brings the Cornwall Colts’ record to (0-1-0-0).
